The Phylum Sarcodina is further divided into two different classes: the Actinopodea and Rhiopodea. These two classes consist of organisms such as radiolarians and foraminiferans.
The picture to the left depicts a few different species of radiolarians. As you can see, they come in different shapes and sizes.
To the right, is a picture of different foraminiferans (forams for short). Radiolarians and forams are both apart of the Phylum Sarcodina. Like the radiolarians, forams come in many different shapes and sizes.
